Continuing Education: Online NEMSA
Online NEMSA is the National EMS Academy’s online learning system where EMS providers can complete all or a majority of their recertification hours depending on their state’s requirements. Our training consists of CECBEMS approved CBT (Computer Based Training) and VILT (Virtual Instructor Led Training) classes and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

For our Texas medics

Online NEMSA now offers a Texas Jurisprudence lesson, which meets the Texas DHSH requirements for initial and renewal of licensure/certification.

We are offering the course for $1 and as a bonus, you will receive a coupon to complete two additional CBTs of your choice for FREE. To purchase the course, log onto Online NEMSA .

Take the required classes
CBTs are self-paced online classes that can be completed at your convenience. VILTs are instructor-led training that takes place in the virtual setting of an online classroom. These classes must be attended at the scheduled times noted and they meet the requirements for live classroom credit hours.

To purchase the recertification program and schedule classes, log onto Online NEMSA. Employees of Acadian can register for classes at Acadian University free of charge.

If you have questions about navigating the site or scheduling classes, please contact Kim Ancelet at kancelet@acadian.com or (337)291-4106. If you have questions about NR requirements or class content, please contact Jennifer Melancon at jennifer.melancon@acadian.com or (337)521-3592.
